WKCC - Wellington Kids Cricket Community

We are a welcoming community of parents and children united by a shared love for cricket. What began in January 2023 with just a small group of kids playing together has grown into a vibrant community of over 300 members and continues to grow every season!

Our players come from across Wellington and beyond, representing clubs such as Eastern Suburbs, Hutt District, Northern Suburbs, and even Masterton. We take pride in our diversity, with families from a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds all connected through the game we love.

We celebrate the joy of cricket — encouraging every child to play fearlessly, learn continuously, and have fun along the way. From friendly games to tournaments and skill sessions, we create opportunities for kids to grow their love for the game in a positive, supportive environment.

WKCC is built on inclusion and belonging. Families from all cultures, backgrounds, and clubs come together as one community — united by cricket, friendship, and shared experiences both on and off the field.

We believe cricket should be accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for all. Driven by parent volunteers and teamwork, we create meaningful moments — whether scoring on the app, cheering from the sidelines, or helping kids gain confidence and connection through every innings.
